Aujourd’hui vendredi 16 juillet, journée qui fait du bien! Réveil sous la bruine (on commence à avoir l’habitude, c’est pas ça qui va nous arrêter !) et matinée tranquille à Briare. Visite du petit musée associatif qui vaut le détour « Musée des 2 marins et du pont canal » ; puis marché avec enfin des légumes locaux et de saison … Ambiance très agréable et une mission « saucisson » prise très au sérieux par mes 2 gourmands de quoi dynamiser le déjeuner.
Départ pour la navigation début d’après midi avec pour objectif Gien ou un peu plus en fonction du vent et de l’énergie des matelots.
Sous un ciel toujours couvert le moral est pourtanr bon et Radobineau file à vive allure! Nous atteignons finalement la centrale de Dampierre avec une excitation mêlée d’appréhension : le niveau haut de la Loire nous oblige à passer une rampe bien agitée et risquée au vue de notre embarcation ( et de notre jeune experience).
Un autre choix est possible, le portage… mais il est déjà presque 19h et l’endroit est vide… Lorsque soudain, surgissent 2 jeunes kayakistes, Stan et Mathias, qui acceptent de nous aider!! Quelle chance! Operation réussie en une petite demi-heure, ouf!.. Grand Merci à eux!!
Quelques km plus loin on se pose pour la première fois contre la berge car la hauteur d’eau ne permet à aucune plage de découvrir sur ce secteur.
Bivouac champêtre non loin de la Centrale…. Mais le ciel se dégage enfin et nous faisons notre premier feu… de joie!!
Il paraît que demain c’est WE et que le soleil va enfin arriver! On a hâte !
